The Sixth Floor Museum at Dealey Plaza is a popular place to visit in Dallas. It's dedicated to learning about JFK and his assassination which happened nearby the museum building. There's also an impressive memorial for him right across from where John F. Kennedy was shot, standing tall as if he were still alive today. After absorbing the intense history of JFK perhaps you should visit the Dallas' Arts District which is considered the largest urban entertainment complex in North America, with a variety of art galleries and museums to explore. Enjoy world-class performing arts venues, restaurants, bars within walking distance from one another. Aside from attractions at the Arts District, there are several other places to visit in addition to parks. Some of these include the Klyde Warren Park with frequent special events and Bachman Lake Park which has a lake and trail for you to enjoy. Other than that, you can go off your usual route by visiting Lakeside park where teddy bear statues decorate creekside landscapes.
