This 2021 Storyteller Overland Classic MODE 4×4 is a nimble, go anywhere, do anything, ready at a moment’s notice, adventure-with-the-whole-family kind of van. Like all Storyteller vans, it will leave you speechless, then turn you into a storyteller. You’ll be talking about this van, and your vacation in it, long after your trip is over.
The Sally Ride comfortably seats and sleeps up to four people (three adults, or two adults and two kids) by converting the bench seat into a bed. The bed has an upgraded mattress with memory foam inserts that might make you want to stay in bed all day…if there weren’t so many adventures to be had! Request the custom kids’ bed set-up and turn the garage space into the ultimate sleeping fort for your young explorers. If you bring extra passengers, have kids who want to stretch their wings, or just want a night under the stars, the owners will provide a two-person tent.
With its 18″ off-road tires, no destination is off limits for the Sally Ride, and, for the ultimate in campsite comfort, the low-profile AC and vent fan will keep you cool so that you can sleep comfortably in the hot summer months.
The kitchen has an electric cooktop, flip-up sink, and refrigerator, along with ample counter space, so it’s easy to cook a post-adventure feast. An exterior fold-out table makes it easy to serve up a delicious snack outside the van. Coffee connoisseur? Play barista and take your pick between a French press, drip pot, or pour over for your morning brew.
Want to really get away from it all? The M-Power automotive grade lithium power system (powered by Volta) can keep you off grid for longer than most vans without the noise and hassles of a generator. The rugged extruded aluminum roof rack and ladder system holds your gear while you make your way to your destination, or you can store things in the “garage” inside the van under the bed. Bringing along your SUP boards or mountain bikes? No problem – The Sally Ride has it under control.

All vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. Pick Up and Drop Off
Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.
Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.

Cancellation Policy
Standard cancellation policy: You can reschedule your trip one time in the same van with no penalty up to 48 hours prior to the rental. Requests to reschedule a trip a second time will incur a 5% rescheduling fee. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 14 days prior to the rental. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will receive a refund for 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations must be made in writing. We are unable to offer refunds for shortened trips if for some reason (e.g. weather, change in schedule) you return the vehicle early. If we cancel the reservation you will receive a full refund.
One-way trip cancellation policy: One-way trips cannot be rescheduled. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 30 days prior to the rental. If you cancel 15 – 29 days prior to the rental, you will forfeit 100% of the one-way fee and receive a full refund on the remaining reservation line items, less a 5% service fee. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will forfeit 100% of the one-way fee and receive a refund for 50% of the remaining rental fees. Cancellations must be made in writing.
