This 2021 Storyteller Overland Beast Mode 4×4 is the ultimate go anywhere, do anything, ready at a moment’s notice kind of van. First, it leaves you speechless, then it turns you into a storyteller. You’ll be talking about this van, and your vacation in it, long after your trip is over.

With its 18″ off-road tires, no destination is off-limits. Canyon Beast takes you comfortably on gravel and rugged roads giving you access to the best views and magical camp spots. For your comfort, once you have made it to your campsite, the low-profile AC and vent fan will create a cool atmosphere so that you can sleep comfortably in the hot summer months. Headed out in cold weather? The cabin heater will keep you cozy on cold nights.

The van comfortably seats and sleeps three adults (or two adults and two kiddos), so it is perfect for families or for outings with friends. The bench seat converts into a bed, perfect for one adult or two small kids. In the kitchen, you can cook up a feast. There is an electric cooktop, flip-up sink, and refrigerator, along with ample counter space. An exterior fold-out table lets you take the party outside the van.

Want to really get away from it all? The M-Power automotive-grade lithium power system (powered by Volta) can keep you off-grid for longer than most vans without the noise and hassles of a generator. The rugged extruded aluminum roof rack and ladder system will be able to hold onto your gear while you make your way to your destination, or you can store things in the “garage” inside the van under the bed.

All vans are considered “road trip ready.” Whether you are flying in from out of town or looking to explore your own backyard, all you really need to do is stop for groceries before hitting the road. All cookware and tableware is included, as is bedding and a wide array of camping gear. Pick Up and Drop Off

Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.

Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.

Location

Insurance

Insurance coverage includes $1 million in liability to the renter, $1 million in liability to the van owner, and comp and collision coverage up to $200,000. Insurance coverage starts at $49.50 per night. Prices may vary by vehicle and location.

Roadside Assistance

We make 24-hour roadside assistance available for $15 a day. Coverage includes: towing, flat tire assistance, emergency fluids delivery, battery boost, and a mobile mechanic. Many van owners require 24-hour roadside assistance as part of the rental. Where coverage is mandatory, you must either purchase our policy, or show proof of comparable coverage, including 1) RV towing and 2) towing distance of 100+ miles.

Mileage

125 miles per night is included in every rental. Additional miles are charged 35 cents - $1 per mile depending on the vehicle. For example, on a four-night rental, you will have 500 free miles. If you traveled 600 miles, at 35 cents a mile you would pay an additional $35 at the end of your trip.

Security Deposit

We'll place an authority to charge $1,000 - $1500 (vehicle dependent) on your card two days before your rental starts. The authority to charge is released, less any additional fees, usually no more than seven days after you return.

Cancellation Policy
Standard cancellation policy: You can reschedule your trip one time in the same van with no penalty up to 48 hours prior to the rental. Requests to reschedule a trip a second time will incur a 5% rescheduling fee. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 14 days prior to the rental. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will receive a refund for 50% of the rental fee. Cancellations must be made in writing. We are unable to offer refunds for shortened trips if for some reason (e.g. weather, change in schedule) you return the vehicle early. If we cancel the reservation you will receive a full refund.

One-way trip cancellation policy: One-way trips cannot be rescheduled. You can cancel your reservation for a full refund, less a 5% service fee, up to 30 days prior to the rental. If you cancel 15 – 29 days prior to the rental, you will forfeit 100% of the one-way fee and receive a full refund on the remaining reservation line items, less a 5% service fee. If you cancel less than 14 days prior to the rental, you will forfeit 100% of the one-way fee and receive a refund for 50% of the remaining rental fees. Cancellations must be made in writing.
