“I think, therefore I van”

Thinking Mountain Van is a 2023 Storyteller Overland MODE LT in Seattle ready to hit the road. At GoCamp, we are of the school of thought that camping should be both easy and fun. If you think that, too, this van is for you! Just hop in and head out on your next advanture!

When you’re not out exploring, relax to some tunes on the portable bluetooth speaker. Both front seats swivel so you can gather around the dinette table for a meal or rousing card game. There’s even an exterior fold-down table so you can continue the fun outside. Upon request, the owners will provide a crate, food/water dishes, and a Wilderdog waterproof fleece blanket to keep Fido comfy and seats clean.

Thinking Mountain Van’s kitchen has all the modern conveniences of home, including stainless steel sink with folding faucet, fridge/freezer combo, and portable induction cooktop. There’s even a microwave (a relatively rare find in a camper van) for convenient culinary creations while you camp!

After a day full of adventure, the indoor Halo shower will get you squeaky clean or choose the outdoor shower if you’d rather commune with nature. With a hot water recirculation system on board, you’ll always have nice warm water at the ready. Thinking Mountain Van even has a portable toilet so you can always go, even on the go.

This van comfortably seats and sleeps three adults (or two adults and a couple of small kiddos), so it is perfect for small families or outings with friends. The platform bed accommodates up to two adults and the bench seat in the GrooveLounge easily converts into an additional bed, perfect for one adult or two small children. Need to bring along extra gear? No worries! Make good use of the “garage” space under the bed to stash all your stuff.

Stay off-grid in comfort. Both air conditioning and heat are available to you using the powerful energy system on board. Devices can be fully charged using the power outlets and USB plugs throughout. Automotive-grade lithium batteries provide all the power you’ll need, without ever requiring the use of a noisy generator.

With all the features a Ford Transit has to offer, driving this van is so easy you’ll hardly have to think about it! This AWD van handles well and can navigate through city streets or safely maneuver winding mountain roads. Thinking Mountain Van also comfortably fits into a regular parking spot which makes travel a breeze.

And Thinking Mountain Van gets extra credit because it is a winter-ready van. Enjoy four-season comfort thanks to the following features:

  • all wheel drive capabilities
  • enhanced suspension
  • gasoline fired heating system
  • magnetic shades cover the windows for privacy and added warmth
  • front fog lights

For those looking to try before you buy, this Storyteller Overland MODE LT in Seattle will give you a great sense of how well these vehicles perform on and off the road. Thinking you’d like to give van life a try? Lucky for you, you can… with Thinking Mountain Van!

Your Information

Please complete each section below, then press the "Get Rolling" button to review your quote.

Pick Up and Drop Off

Rentals are Calculated on a 24-hour Basis: The rental period is generally considered to be 24 hours. If you pick up the van at 10 am, you’ll be expected to return it around 10 am. Most van owners can accommodate requests for a few extra hours at $20/hour. Alternatively, if you want to pick up in the morning and drop off in the evening, simply select the optional half day add-on when completing your reservation.

Pick Up and Drop Off Time: There is no set pick up and drop off time. You’ll make arrangements suited to your needs and schedule with the van’s owner. You can indicate your preferred pick up and drop off time when completing your reservation; final arrangements will be confirmed with the van’s owner.

Insurance coverage includes $1 million in liability to the renter, $1 million in liability to the van owner, and comp and collision coverage up to $200,000. Insurance coverage starts at $49.50 per night. Prices may vary by vehicle and location.

Roadside Assistance

We make 24-hour roadside assistance available for $15 a day. Coverage includes: towing, flat tire assistance, emergency fluids delivery, battery boost, and a mobile mechanic. Many van owners require 24-hour roadside assistance as part of the rental. Where coverage is mandatory, you must either purchase our policy, or show proof of comparable coverage, including 1) RV towing and 2) towing distance of 100+ miles.

125 miles per night is included in every rental. Additional miles are charged 35 cents - $1 per mile depending on the vehicle. For example, on a four-night rental, you will have 500 free miles. If you traveled 600 miles, at 35 cents a mile you would pay an additional $35 at the end of your trip.

Security Deposit

We'll place an authority to charge $1,000 - $1500 (vehicle dependent) on your card two days before your rental starts. The authority to charge is released, less any additional fees, usually no more than seven days after you return.
